The guys at Stranger Things have flattered the hell out of me, and made their adaptation of my short story SACRED COW their debut vidcast episode. I haven’t seen the whole thing, but the trailer is pretty kick-ass. Earl Newton and the Stranger Crew have me dying to see this baby! And I have to wait until MARCH 1! And he WON’T LET ME SEE IT BEFORE HAND!! Now I know how you Junkies feel, and, dammit, I don’t like it!

I knew this was going to happen! This is awesome. Now we just need the Rookie as a feature length movie and videogame.

I will second and third that one!
Plus I have heroes tonight to hold me over. But episode 18 better not be too late, or my wife is canceling her trip and flying out to california. “Misery”

The “Sacred Cow” is a brilliant short story that REALLY made me laugh and got me thro another tough period waiting for Scott to release his new podcast “The Rookie”!
Keep up the good work Scott

All right… . Super bowl is over, and my team didn’t win… and I can’t even console myself with the next chapter of my OTHER favorite team…. WHAT GIVES?>???? I WANT MY KRAKENS!!!!!! Congrats on the Sacred Cow movie deal… if that goes over well, maybe you can get a few more of the shorts done… Hero or Chuckles Mulrooney perhaps???

Fellow Junkies-
I have just watched this incredible piece of media and all I can say is “Wow!”. The production value is through the roof; the acting is top notch; and the interpretation of the story, though not strictly sticking to the original, was fantastic! The Hitchcockesque cameo of Scott’s creepy photo was an unexpected treat as well. Nice way to tie the story back to the author.
If you haven’t yet checked out Stranger Things yet, you are doing yourself a disservice.
Let’s hope they put together another Scott Sigler production. I vote for Chuckles Mullrooney!

I’m a little behind. I just saw the movie. The story was very interesting. I especially enjoyed that the poison for killing the prayer leech involved boiling meat in milk, something prohibited in the Bible. Good detail if it was intentional.
